Get To Know VSD

VSD was created by Jaedon La Valley and Chelsey Carberry to cultivate more dance opportunities in the Peterborough area for people-- regardless of their age, skill level, or financial situation. To put it simply, VSD wants to provide everyone with the opportunity to dance!

Motivated to provide an opportunity for new and experienced dancers to explore their art , Chesley and Jaedon quickly realized their love for dance went far beyond the art itself-- it was for the community. Too many times had the pair heard of dancers having to leave their art behind as the regular studio life no longer suited their schedule.

In response to this, VSD was built as a way for all dancers to have more versatile and accessible training.

VSD is also a space for performers, as both Chelsey and Jaedon value the excitement live performances can bring. With a collection of shows already under their belt, Our studio is your best source of gaining more chances in the spotlight!

Chesley and Jaedon are ecstatic to share everything they've gained and learned so far on their dance journey- most importantly, they're eager to construct a family that can help spread their message of self-empowerment through dance. Meet The Team

Owner and Instructor

Chelsey Carbbery

Chelsey has dedicated 21 years of her life to training and competing in over 10 styles of dance; such as jazz, contemporary, heels and ballroom.

A graduate of both T.A.S.S' IA dance program and Centennial college (where she received her diploma in Dance Performance), Chelsey has developed a strong understanding of what it means to be a successful dancer. Because of this, Chelsey has worked with multiple dance studios/teams in and outside the Peterborough area.

Chelsey now utilizes her 12 years of teaching and choreographing experience with Velocity school of dance, where she can create an environment that will embody everything she loves about her craft.

Owner and Instructor

Jeadon Lavalley

Jaedon La Valley- who began as a self taught dancer- quickly became known for his unique dance style that incorporates both hip-hop & contemporary

elements.

He began his professional dance journey 13 years ago, graduating from both T. A.S.S' IA Dance Program and Centennial College with a diploma in Dance Performance. However, before graduating high school, Jaedon had caught the attention of a Saint Catherines based dance crew known as Omega; to which he promptly joined and has been training/preforming with ever since.

Dedicated to teaching others how to find their creative voice, Jaedon plans to use VSD as a way to inspire others to follow in the footsteps of his younger self and take a leap of faith into dance.
